Pena established the Las Villas Cigar Factory to maintain absolute quality control, overseeing every step of the process—from the initial rolling of long-filler leaf to the final construction of the cedar boxes in-house. 

The factory is renowned for its dedication to craftsmanship, producing approximately 17,000 cigars daily using time-honored methods like triple-seamed caps. By managing their own production facility, Las Villas ensures that every cigar meeting the consumer’s hand adheres to the rigorous standards Pena brought from his heritage, making them a standout in the competitive Estelí landscape.
